I live in the "Land of the Lost"... namely Michigan. It is a swing state, but one which John McCain won't campaign in anymore. Unfortunately, I think that is the right decision. Michigan by and large votes republican, except around Detroit, where unfortunately most of the population lies. There is little chance that John McCain war hero can sway a city like that. Especially with MSM firmly in the camp of Obama.
Michigan is a great place to live, I personally live in southwest Michigan. About 1 1/2 hours from Chicago, and 2 1/2 hours from Detroit. I can be either place quick enough to make a day trip of it. I can also purchase a nice house here for less that $200,000. My daughter can walk to school without fear of being shot in a drive by. All in all a nice place to raise a family.

Why post? Frustration mostly. I see the economy sabotoged by Barney Frank and his ilk, then blaming the republicans who couldn't have fixed it if they tried... oh yeah but they DID try. The worst part of it, is their control over 90% of the media means that they point the fingers at President Bush even though he was one asking for reform. Basically the democrats stole the people's money and while it was still clenched in their greedy little fists they were pointing at the conservatives.
Democrats are using this as a stepping stone to promote a socialist agenda saying the free market didn't work. Well that is just plain not true. After all, it was the government that set the standards of lending. Don't take my word for it, check this Forbes article for a clearer picture.
